Arvak has Zeebo slung over his shoulder.\u00a0 Phallon and some of the soldiers cover Ragnor as he inspects the body and device in the snow.\u00a0 The body appears to be a dead teenaged true man, with burns in his abdomen and left thigh.\u00a0 He is wearing a hole-ridden <\/span><\/span>set\u00a0of furs (fur side facing inward), and a pair of shiny black gloves made of a synthetic material.\u00a0 On the body or near it, Ragnor discovers:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. a 2′ long metal cylinder with handles and tubing attached<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. a plastic water bottle (contents now solid with ice)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. 35 domars<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. squeaker jerky (= 2 days iron rations)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. 3 spears\/javelins tipped with shlack (sharp pointy fungal growths, kind of like glass).\u00a0 BD8 but -2BD vs metal armor<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    As Ragnor lifts up the metal device, chunks of ice and snow crumble off of it.\u00a0 Between the entire group, the device is identified as a beat up ancient mountain bike.\u00a0 The rubber tires have short metal studs protruding from their treads.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
