Ragnor quietly walks across the mess hall, followed by Arvak.  Stealth rolls: Ragnor (9): 70 0 = blue.  Arvak (8): 7 4 = blue.  They get to the southern doorway, and see the base’s kitchen.  There are numerous cabinets, counters, and shiny metal appliances along its north and south wall.  The east end has an open doorway leading into a darkened room.  A dull deep hum is coming from the blackness, and some sort of white vapor is pouring out of the doorway, which dissipates quickly.

All of the cabinets and appliance doors are open, and the floor and counters are piled with empty metal pans, pots, trays, and other cookware and cultery.  It would be quite difficult to walk through the room without making noise.

Ragnor loads 3 more shells into his shotgun.  It is now fully loaded with 6 shells.  His bandoleer now has only 3 shells left.

Arvak, face wrapped, opens the door and enters the room, followed by Ragnor.  The room has four large rectangular tables and “mead hall” style benches, although they are made of metal instead of rough wood.  Although the tables are arranged orderly, the rest of the room is a mess.  Trays, plates, cups, bowls, and silverware have been thrown around or discarded all over.  Everything seems to be extremely clean.  There is no hint of food, fresh or spoiled.  The south wall has a counter/window and a door.

(I still don’t see an option to password protect a post.  Is the command in a different place than before?)

Zeebo reaches forward and pulls out the arrow he just shot into the ghool.  It continues to hang motionless.  He carefully puts the ghool goo on the arrow tip into -whoops, the test tubes are in his backpack outside the base.  Where is Zeebo going to store the sample(s)?  In the meantime, he uses his bow to put a few more arrows into the ghool’z arms and legs to pin it more securely on the wall.  Then he starts to take detailed notes on his datapad.

Phallon enters the room at this point.
