Adventure Two, Ninety Fifth Turn

Sarka, shroom den apothecary, Klos 19th, 350AC, 11:40  (underground, 70 degrees, crescent moon)

Ragnor empties his purse onto the counter, and Zeebo flips in a domar.  The badder takes the money, then starts wrapping up the goods into canvas bags.  The guards look on impassively.  (Domars deducted, items added to Ragnor’s equipment)

The door behind you opens, and Arvak strides into the room, ducking under the low doorway, then straightening up and stretching his back and shoulders a bit.

For Arvak’s benefit:  the counter wrapping around the room looks kind of like the farmers markets you’ve seen in Sanctuary, except that instead of vegetables, there are a bunch of different shrooms and containers of powders and pastes.  Four more masked cloaked badder guards watch.  A fifth one, with gold trim to his black cloak, is gathering up some purchases for your friends.  Arvak just came in by the south door (I don’t have access to my computer files, so I can’t alter the map from last turn…)

Adventure Two, Ninety Second Turn

Sarka, southern city, shroom den, Klos 19th, 350AC, 11:01  (underground, 65 degrees, crescent moon)

Your group walks up to the shroom den.  The solid looking metal doors are locked, but there is a heavy knocker bolted to them.  (To speed up the game, I assume the next action)  One of you uses the knocker to rap upon the door.  KANG KANG KANG!

You hear the sliding of bolts, and the door on your left swings halfway open.  A badder half steps into view (shielded by the other door).  It wears a jet black cloak and a gray leather mask.  It raises up a weapon that looks like a dirk with a 1.5′ blade which has been curved upward, to look like an animal claw.  It points it at you (whoever is in front, or at random) and says “Raaka ep.”

Adventure Two, Ninety First Turn

Sarka, southern city, market, Klos 19th, 350AC, 11:00  (underground, 65 degrees, crescent moon)

You turn and exit the shop, rattling the hanging chains as you go.  You continue in the same direction as before, walking southward.  To your right is a series of small huts and shops.  Some of them are displaying hanging cuts of meat, which hang from hooks over the windows.  You catch a whiff of the inviting smell of cooked meat, but then notice a badder wearing a filthy apron who is using a cleaver to chop up a 2 meter long beetle on top of a wooden block.  A big pile of cracked bug shell lies to one side, and chunks of pale moist “bug meat” lie on the other.  Several badders, some of them younger ones, stand around and watch.

To your left is another hut made out of stone, with a mushroom cap roof.  This one, unlike the others, is actually painted.  Its roof is jet black with big yellow spots, and its walls are yellow with black spots.  The arch of the doorway sits within a big black spot, but the black double doors are closed.
