Lazetur’s eyes narrow to slits.  Some of you think you can see light glowing from within (silver irises now backlit so look black).  His hoarse voice becomes a near whisper, just made out above the winds he is generating:  “You know the cyborg of whom I speak.  Yet you give me nothing.  Tell me what I seek or some of you will suffer grievious injury.”  He looks slightly down at Zeebo, “You are standing on a grave.”

Adventure Two, Fiftieth Turn

You all hear a quick “whoooshing” noise, and an armored knight drops out of the sky, landing abruptly unharmed, behind Zarr.  The duralloy armor is dirty and dented, and a few exposed wires and servos can be seen in cavities between the plates of armor.  The man is not wearing a helmet, but there is a large piece of metal riveted around the left side of his head.  He grabs Zarr by the throat (silent *gack*) dropping him to his knees.  Four metal shield-like disks detach from the knight and start to float around him in a 1 meter orbit.  The knight, with a half-scowl, looks over the rest of you with his strange shiny silver eyes.  In a hoarse voice, he says:
You are the ones who dishonored the dead.  Left him here on the ice like carrion.   Perhaps I should treat you in a similar manner.”

Adventure Two, Forty Ninth Turn

Sorry about the long delay.  Although maybe a break from the game was a good thing for you, Jeff?  I’ll let this turn take up to a week before ending it since we’re out of the routine.

I wanted to post the monty python “Finland” song here, but my copy is too large and I just can’t find a good free sample.  I also don’t know how to post links to videos (youtube, etc).  Greg, for the future, could you e-mail me a step by step?

Ragnor, Zeebo, and Arvak advance towards the area of dirty snow and the post, while the scouts flank and the soldiers follow.  Phallon did not declare an action last turn, so he advances with the soldiers, zombie-like.

2-492

Closing to within 3 meters, your group sees a low mound of packed mixed snow and dirt.  The mound is 2-3 meters in diameter (although the dirty snow is spread wider than that) and only a half meter high in the center.  There is a 4″ x 4″ post sticking out of the ground on one end of the mound.  It appears to be wood, but it is a shiny brown color, as if it has been varnished.  It rises 2 meters from the ground.

(Perhaps some secret GM rolls were made here for awareness or precognition.  Or not.  Just letting you know I’m thinking of such things)

What now?
