Phallon uses fear generation (14): 80 9 = yellow.  The ghool makes a roll on the fear table (8): 70 5 = blue.  It is at 1/2 columns on actions.  Phallon quickdraws his combat knife and attacks.  The attack’s initative is reduced by 4, but that still is before the ghoolz go (roll of 10 + 2DX = 12 -4 = 8).  -2CS to the attack for quickdraw (5): 30 5 = white.

Ragnor chops at the ghool with his battleax.  Bonus for attacking from behind is offset by trying not to chop Arvak.  (16): 80 6 = yellow hit.  Does only base damage of 12.  The blow smacks into its shoulder, cuts through the bone, and results in a hanging useless arm.  It makes a roll to see if it maintains its hold on Arvak (11): 70 0 = blue.  Its wrestling hold is reduced by 1RF to a blue hold.

Ghool 2 jumps away from Phallon and claws desperately at the now closed door.

Ghool 5, clinging to Arvak by one arm, tries to bite (11): 20 9 = white.  It burns (X): 60 5 = yellow.  BD 2 x 3RF = 6 points burn damage.  Arvak down to 48hp.

Arvak wrestle (19): 5 2 = green.  He grabs the glowing ghool, tears it off, and hurls it to the ground.  The ghool skids along the floor a bit and winds up on its back.  The strip of flesh keeping its arm attached stretches and tears a bit, but the arm is still loosely attached.

Phallon uses Sun Ray Hands on ghool 2 (12): 70 5 = green.  Base damage of 6 x 2RF = 12 points of damage.  Mental Blast (10): 10 5 = white.  The ghool is badly burned, its uniform and the arrow in its chest blackened and smoldering.

Arvak swings his hammer at ghool 5 (18): 3 2 = white.  Swing anna miss!

Ghool 2 grapples with Phallon (11): 20 4 = white.  Bites at Phallon (11): 20 6 = white.

Ghool 5 grapples with Arvak (11): 70 7 = green hold.  Bites (11): 10 3 = white.  Its skin glows bright green and heat sears into Arvak (X): 80 7 = orange.  BD 2 x 4RF = 8 points of burn damage.  Arvak down to 54 hit points.

Ragnor moves out from the door and swings his battle ax (16): 30 1 = white.

The two ghoolz charge forward.  Each needs a green sense roll to see Phallon as they enter.  Ghool 2 (8): 80 8 = green.  Ghool 5 (8): 10 1 = white.  Ghool 5 charges forward at Arvak.  Ghool 2 tries to eat Phallon.  Phallon is unable to dodge or defend, since he is activating the close button.

Ghool 2 tries to grapple (11): 40 3 = white.  And tries to bite (11): 50 9 = blue.  Again the bite does not penetrate Phallon’s armor this round.  He triggers the door, and it slides shut.
