Ragnor swings his battle ax (17): 70 2 = yellow.  BD 14 – 3ac = 11 points of damage.  The blow punctures through the armor, and into the ghool’z side.  When its wrenched out, there is an awful smell and its guts start to plop out.  It really doesn’t look so good, yet it keeps on going.

Arvak grabs on and tries to pull it off (wrestling 19 – 2CS for the hold = 17): 2 6 = white.

The ghool and Phallon act simultaneously.  The ghool clings to Arvak, bites (11): 50 5 = blue hit.  1 point of damage done.  It burns (X): 70 0 = yellow.  BD 2 x 3RF = 6 points of burn damage.  Hp down to 44.

Phallon tries to slice it with his monoknife.  (7 – 2CS for sickness = 5): 60 9 = blue.  Minor flesh wound and no apparent effect.
