Your group leaves the warm confines of Fort Akton, heading down Bunker Hill.  At the bottom, you turn away from the usual path towards the village, and take the barely used path northwest into the badlands.  A crust of snow covers everything in this desolate place.  The path is partially obscured by a layer of uneven packed snow and ice.  Your footing slips a bit with many steps.  Ragnor and Zeebo are heavily burdened (Ragnor by rations, Zeebo is more brainy than brawny), and trudge along at a snails pace.

turn23
Your group is moving at a speed of 8km per march turn (4 hours), slowed down by a multiple of 0.8 due to the road condition.  You are trudging along at the base of a ridge of hills that rise to the north of the road.  Everything around you is gleaming snow, exposed rock, frozen fungal organisms, and a few chunks of rusted metal.  After three hours, you are appoaching what appears to be an ancient bridge, and it looks like the path crosses over it.
Ragnor, see your private post.
