A creature moves into sight.  It appears to be a 1-1.5 meter diameter clump of tangled transleucent-white fibers.  Four “limbs” extend from its body, ending in bunches of feathery fibers.  At first it moves like a cat, leaping from mushroom top to top, then it wriggles snake-like down a tall mushroom stalk.  A second creature (slightly larger) then leaps out of the air from above and lands on the top of the post to which the dead badder is lashed.  It wraps its “limbs” around the post and badder, the feathery fibers seem to sink into the corpse like a hot knife in butter.  In fact, those of you looking can see some sort of steam or smoke pouring out of the body.

Zeebo and Arvak, see your private posts.

Zarr stands up and loosely knocks an arrow to his bowstring, while nudging the sleeping Bren with his foot.
