The creatures scurry up into the forest canopy and are gone.  Combat is over.  Would you like to do any particular actions now or overnight, other than keeping watch?  Most of you were barely sleeping an hour before this rude awakening, and many of the soldiers will likely be up for a little while thanks to their adrenaline.
