Adventure Two, Eighteenth Turn

Boztun Badlands, Ax-Bow Bridge, Klos 15th, 350AC, 14:30 (sunny, 37 degrees, new moon)

The hoops, wounded and beset upon by many enemies and their former ally, turn and flee.  Several leap from the bridge, across the chasm into D1.  They are jumping and bouncing all over the place, essentially dodging.

Ragnor runs forward (17 meters) onto the bridge, but never gets the hoops into life leech range.

Zeebo moves forward 9 meters, and fires an arrow at hoop 1.  Hoop 1 dodges (15): 20 0 = white.  The attack (13): 6 3 = blue.  (Edited from initial posting: Needs a green due to medium range, so the shot misses.)

Phallon fires his laser pistol at hoop 4.  Hoop 4 dodges (15): 50 0 = blue.  The attack (8): 30 0 = white.  Phallon also mental blasts hoop 3 (10): 30 6 = white.

The chowzer chases and snaps at hoop 2.  Hoop 2 dodge (15): 00 6 = white.  The attack (19): 0 4 = white.  Its powerful incisors clack into empty air.  The chowzer looks like its going to break off its pursuit.

Arvak leaps to his feet, and realizes his hammer is not around.  He makes a roll on his dependency defect (9): 8 7 = green.  No penalty at this time.  He charges hoop 4 (who leaps the chasm) but never gets into melee range.

Combat is essentially over, but here’s initiative for those of you trying to plug a last fleeing bad guy…
